VILLAGE ACADEMY

Village Academy Elementary school is located in the heart of Delray Beach and was originally constructed in 1998. The school has been called the "Sunshine School". The original project was developed for an elementary school and was completed with 66,634 square feet.

The VILLAGE ACADEMY CLASSROOM ADDITION is a Construction Management at Risk construction project. The project consists of a single story addition totaling approximately 28,685 square feet and designed for a capacity of 330 student stations on an existing campus. Also included is an addition to the existing parking lot and a new access road from the west campus.

Design consists of a single story 8" structural masonry walls with steel joints and metal deck and bituminous roofing system for the roof areas. The exterior finishes include stucco with a two color paint theme to match the existing building. Interior finishes include a struck mason wail painted to match existing, VCT floors and acoustical ceilings.

C. 5 New Resource Rooms
D. A Specialized Media Center
E. Administrative Support Spaces and Storage
